couscous
This simple recipe was inspired by the meal that my good friend Erika M made this summer in Bremen.
Caramelize an onion by stirfrying it for several minutes. Make one box of couscous according to the instructions on the box. Heat up or steam a handful of fresh green beans. Stir everything together. Add some dried cranberries for sweetness, crushed almonds or peanuts for protein, roasted garlic for deliciousness, and a little black pepper. Serves about 2 people. Enjoy!
